Default Eshopps overflow bowing

So I have a eshopps overflow on my 75 gallon. I have noticed it's bowed out a bit in the middle of it. The tank is empty right now, but it's a bit more pronounced when water was in it. Is this something I should be concerned with before setting the tank up again?

Dont quote me on this, but I think it is fine. It is happening due to thin acrylic used. Acrylic tanks will have bowing as well if acrylic is not thick enough.

Yeah you should be good. Acrylic is typically weak on the seams. So as long as the Bowing is happening on the part that's farthest away from the straight 90 seems you will be fine.

Now if you like to be a paranoid person then by all means you can go ahead and add a little bit of reinforcements on the outside to straighten it up.

Good to hear. Really wasn't wanting to have to replace it. When I set it up again I might put some bracing on it. Just to be safe.

Hello

As others said it's fine and I can't possibly imagine it to break unless it's separating out from the seams but that's a totally different thing. Although it's surprising to see that it'd flex for such a small box.

Right? I thought it was weird as well. There's so little water in there.
